More about Latra Perfide:
Latra was born in a big city to a thief and a beggar. The first seven years of her life she would follow her father around and help him on almost every midnight robbery. She learned great skills, and would one day be forced to use them to survive. You see, her father was caught, sent off to prison, and Latra has never seen him since. Since then she's learned something that her father never understood: if you can con you can commit. She became very good at playing the guards, and though she has been one of the most active and successful thieves in the city, she has never been convicted successfully because of her skills in both escape and charm.

| Also! Um, yeah, the weapon finesse only works with light weapons... A bastard sword isnt. | |

| Yes Zak. Deal with it's epicness!
Anyway, she'll probably be forced to use it as a 2 handed weapon the whole time. I'll probably trade it in for a new feat. | |

| You... can't trade in feats.... And again, weapon finesse won't work with the bastard sword. You'd have to use your +1 strength. | |

| It's not approved yet. I can change it, as long as I make sure I'm allowed it. | |

| then I suggest you get rid of the bastard sword and go with double hook blades or something. Or, rather, just don't go with dual weapons at all. | |

| Aaaaaaaactually he has a fair point. Rogues are sneakysneak. Bastard swords, I do hate to say, aren't. I ain't gonna MAKE you give it up(concerning approvals, by the way, I'm mostly lax on that for my campaigns), but if yer playing her as a stealth Rogue Imma give the suggestion not to use it as a primary weapon. Also I'll probably just be using them for what I'd infer about her from them anyways(like that Weak-Willed one, she'll have harder saves vs fear :p), but what exactly do those flaws do? | |

| *facepalms* Nik, okay, buddy, look at your stats. For melee, which uses the STR stat, you've got a +1. Now, take into account the double weapons feat and you get a -4 to hit with your offhand weapon and a -2 for the primary hand weapon. Thats a -3 and a -1 to hit in melee with dual weapons whereas you could use weapon finesse and get a +3 DEX bonus to light weapons, such as the rapier, short sword, hook swords, etc and just be better off. Dual wielding looks cool, but unless you focus on it you're going to be missing. A lot. | |

| I like how you guys are all focused on the weapon choices when he's playing the team skill class. His character isn't really designed as a hitty, more as an interaction class. Although, you know... doing that you want your points in Intelligence, really. Charisma is pretty useless for the skill class when you have a charismatic spellcaster in the party. Then again, I mean, the party is full of imbalance. You have two tanks, two charmers, no DPS and no healer. Your tactic pretty much has to be to have one tank take all the hits while the sorcerer and the rogue convince people not to attack you, then switch out tanks when one gets low and give him a few days to heal up. And pray to god that Hiro spams you with healing potions. Party balance is more important than character balance. | |

| Well, Orga isn't going to change his class, I have no clue why on Earth Nik picked a rogue, that basically leaves me to be healer. | |

| Like I said, you guys were short of a skill class anyway. Nik is filling a position you need. Albeit in a way that is inefficient. But yeah. We've talked the party balance thing through before. I guess I could go roll up a healer of some kind. Balance out the party a little. | |

| I thought monks were, you know, DPSers? I made the fighter-samurai to take up the tank roll. | |

| They're more of a melee range AOE normally. They hit often, but not incredibly hard. But based on Orga's play style, it'll be a tank. On the subject of which, someone should point out to Orga that he can do more damage unarmed than he can with that crappy Kama. | |

| Like I said, I'll play healer, no biggy. Gimme a day to roll something up that I actually want to play and can heal. And yeah. Monks don't have a lot of use for weapons unless they're enchanted. | |
