Suzy, incapable of understanding Sher, responds only by tilting her head in slight confusion at him before going back to glaring at Wat.

I say it again in sylva, getting in front of her and blocking her view of wat. I gesture for her to calm down.

I... don't think she actually understands Sylva? Either way, she's only responding to Elven. Nice try. =P

She understands sylvan, gosh dangit. Either way, sher doesnt know this and continues.

She does, normally, but at this time she has indeed regressed to her first language, Elven. So Suzy continues ignoring the strange-words man who looks vaguely familiar to her probably-somewhat-traumatized mind.

Sher sighs. "What the hell happened?" I ask Errwick.

Errwick shrugs.
"Errwick is not understandink. Firstinkly, the Treekin and Earthkin are listenink to the Elmkin with the melodiodiousinkness and harmoneries, and all of a suddenly, kabampf! The Ironkin is Sailink the Lunar Sea!"

Really? You asked Errwick what happened? =P

"There was a dryad playing the flute. We began to relax around, listening to her, and the bard even began to play along side her. The that barbarian decided to murder the maiden!" Leilanad said with angry offense.

"That is beink what Errwick is sayink!"

Leilanad shot an annoyed look at Errwick, then away again. After a moment of awkward silence, he said, "Well, are you going to try and save her or not?"

He would if the two people holding combat initiative over him would use their actions. =P
"Errwick is not beink as lickitysplickity as the Treekin!"

"Oh bugger..." I sigh. "Fine, Leilanad, you make sure Suzy doesnt do anything else crazy and try talking to her in Elvish if you could. Errwick, please try to see if you can save the dryad." I run after Wat. For two whole turns. And when I catch up to him I tackle him saying "Wat! Stop you have violated the law are going to run into the enemy!"

Zak, Orga, roll grapple.

Waiting on Hiro to confirm whether or not he's considering himself still in combat, since Zak and Orga have broken off from combat enough at this point to be considered separate (although an attempt to engage them will throw you back into the combat order, obviously).

Since Wat is fleeing in absolute hilarious terror, Suzy feels no need to keep chasing him.

Errwick trundles over, and mutters some words of power, laying his hand on the Dryad. There's a brief flash of light, and you hear a sharp intake of breath.

Wat, taking a small penalty from a combination of Fear effects and me not wanting to split the party again, fails his grapple check. Zak manages, somehow, to wrestle the half-orc to the ground, with some difficulty.

I try to keep him pinned down, still shouting at him. "Wat! Calm down, the woman is going to be alright. Calm the fuck down!"

"No, O'im a danguh to everywahn!" Wat shouts as he attempts to escape from Sher.

Wat is still shaken from what happened, and is unable to break free.

Leilanad thinks something along the lines of, Do I have to? He gets up, and as Suzy stops running, it seems that his question was answered for him. Noneteless, he shouted to her in elven, "<Suzy?! Are you okay?>"

I take out some of my silk rope and try to tie him up.
