That's your chance to hit, not your damage. Damage is weapon dependent. Go check the weapon stats. =P

The missile attack bit is your chance to hit, not damage. But nice try. =P

The arrow glances wolf's flank, and it stumbles, seeming to have taken a surprising amount of damage from the hit.

*Forgot the wolves get a turn* The wolves spend their turn amalgamating around the bottom of your trees. Four of them at the bottom of Zak's, including the injured one, and the other three at the bottom of Nik's.

Roll ranged attack and balance again Zak. =P

Also, Orga, Hiro, you are capable of doing stuff in the tavern still. You did not cease to exist. =P

Since you're untrained in that particular skill, you aren't actually able to roll it. You're able to identify the meat as something you might have tasted before, but you don't recognise it.

Okay, does this mean no XP loss?

Nope! A deterrent isn't a deterrent if things have no consequences. Suck it up princess. =P

While two of your party members continue to sit in silence in the inn, one apparently not even eating the food they ordered, Zak shoots himself in the foot and falls out of the tree. Roll Reflex when you inevitably attempt to grab the branches as you fall (unless you came up with a better plan).
Your shot was fortunately so pathetic that it only did one point of damage.

I drop my handbow accidentally before using my cloak as a piece of rope and attempting to latch that onto a branch as I fall.

You manage to hook your cloak around a branch within a few mere feet, saving yourself from perishing. The crowd goes wild at your save, despite how it was caused by your own bad shooting.
Your bow clatters to the ground, and the wolves appear to ignore it.
Roll climb to get back into the tree, then back to Nik.
