You land on the scorpion's back. It doesn't seem to react to your presence.

Kay, I hold my action.

McFeathers with fries and Zak to move (the scorpions pass their action).

Mr McFeathers descends towards where Orga is at, hovers two feet above it and lets me dismount. He proceeds to fly off towards the other one.

Roll hide (for Zak, not McFeathers).
Also mark where he moves out to.

The scorpions continue not reacting to your presence.

"Yes, hack an opening into their heads and I will make swift work of them." Orga says, readying himself.

"Good, lets do this." I sneak up to where the things eyes are then attempt to slice them apart.

You slash across its' eyes, and the thing lets out a horrendous screech. You make a second blow, but alas, it catches on the shell and bounces off ineffectually.

Its a critical too, because of the sword's 18-20 crit and my improved crit feat

'Fraid not. Improved Critical increases your threat range with a selected weapon (I should probably have pointed out you need to select the types of weapon each of those are for. Sorry, my bad).

The scorpion closes its' eyes, and a mixture of thick, red blood and a thin, white liquid gushes from them. You can roll to check if you want, but you're fairly sure that's a good indicator that it's blinded.
