More about Tyv Scurra:
Tyv was born in the city of Tatl to a rich halfling who made lots of money selling indulgences. His father was a high priest who passionately believed in his religion, but nonetheless was the stereotypical hypocrite ruling a temple. Amongst most people in Tatl he had a great reputation as a great, holy, and upright man. However there was one thing that put his reputation at risk daily: his son. His son who only ever saw his father in an angry, corrective mood. His father who seemed to care nothing for his rebellious son, but only his reputation. His mother didn't help either. All backbone in the family belonged to the father, and the mother seemed to follow him blindly at times. Tyv spent most of his time away from home, and his parents would be fine with this until the town guards brought him in after catching him in the act of something shady. Eventually his father realized that he wasn't going to be getting any better in Tatl, so he sent him off to the medical school in the port city of Tael. The school was a religious institution known for being quite prestigious and turning out great doctors. However, the father would be making a huge mistake. Sending Tyv to a large city where the guards wouldn't know his face and likely believe his big fat ones he told to get out of trouble? Yeah, Tyv loved it in Tael.
Tyv did however learn a great deal from the school. He ended up taking a keen interest in medicine. Becoming a doctor became one of the few things he truly took interest in, and one specific philosophy took hold of him. One of the policies of being a medic of their cast was never to leave someone who was hurt if you could do something. The ideal was to put differences aside and help people. As attacks of religion started to form throughout the world, the medics got into a little trouble whenever they were caught 'helping the enemy.' Luckily, due to the fact that this practice of helping anyone regardless was known, they were given a bit more slack and not considered an actual enemy.

Since I rerolled him as a healer (which happened a long time ago, specifically when I wrote "*edited" below) I actully need to pick from a different spell list. Sorry for not doing this earlier.

Yup.
This has the advantage that you can change them out for other spells if need be (provided you have a spellbook with the appropriate spells in).
It has the disadvantage that you slow the party down because we all hate you having to prepare spells. =P
And, you know. Take a casters spell book away, and they're screwed.

I think Druids use the spell component kit instead of books.

No, spell components are required for most forms of spells regardless of caster type (unless you have Eschew Materials / Improved Eschew Materials). Spell books are just one of those things that define Learned spellcasters against natural casters.

My suggestion is to get both those eschew feats as soon as you can. Very useful.

Done with the bio, and finally fixed the spells.

Healer learns all their spells automatically, like a Dread Necromancer. No need to pick spells, you automatically know all the spells available to you. =P
So long as you have spell uses of the right level remaining, you can use any power you know.

Makes things a lot easier in a way, if a little difficult when it comes to customisation.

Do I still have to study them?

Not to the best of my knowledge. Ask your referee for confirmation (ie Zak). =P
