Nik, Tyv finds a small vein of an odd, glowing crystal, five banana plants, three melon trees, a nest of a small bird, some old rope and a rusting sword impaling a skeletal corpse at the entrance of a small cave.

And he loots all of it! That is, except for the crystal, in which he shouts, "Hey guys?! Come take a look at this!"

"Anythin' beat layin' at the beach mate" Varris stands and follows Bellus

Within the banana shelter, Bellus takes a seat on the ground, cross legged.
"Well, assuming the others secure food, and this shelter holds out for the mean time, the only other things we need to survive are water, fire and protection. I am more than capable of providing the fire," He prestidigitises some awesome sparks in the air to punctuate his point "and I think we've proven ourselves quite capable of defending ourselves, but water could prove to be a problem. Equally, I'm sure we'd all like to get off this island, which also seems difficult right now. Basically, I'm saying we need to explore and map the island."

Vog walks up to the halfling and looks at the crystal before peering into the cave, trying to make out whatever might be in there.

You realize that these glowing purple crystals are in fact T'al crystals and are often used in the place of metal to make many types of arms and armour for those who can afford the rare and valuable materials.

Am I able to collect them or do I need special equipment?
